Life in Color

Welcome to my photo gallery. (Note: This page is not yet ready. You will find nothing here or in the sub-sections at this time.)

This is where I intend to post digital photo albums or flash presentations of images, some of which may be downloaded. Note that I will probably work on this part of the website last as I would need sighted assistance to select the pictures to be showcased (as I'm sure neither you nor I would want me to accidentally put in an image taken when I was in the swimming pool. Eww!), and then to set the order in which they will be presented.

I had been looking for the best place to upload my photos, one that is ad-free and has no limit to storage space or upload file size, and more importantly, where the user interface is accessible with a screen reader, because I do not want to pester sighties just to upload and organize the image files. As for Facebook, many people have indeed suggested that I create an account. Although I understand the benefits of using Facebook and other social networking services, I do not really agree that this is suitable for my personality and lifestyle. I do not want to feel compelled to check my account everyday, just to add "friends", reply to private messages, and respond to comments. I do not wish to appear a snob, but at the same time, I have other things that preoccupy me on a daily basis. In fact, even if I do have some free time, I am more inclined to spend it reading a book or listening to an audio play, preferably with my computer turned off. Well, never say never, I may tackle Facebook yet, but not in the foreseeable future.

In the meantime, some people have uploaded a few videos at the following Youtube links that you may want to check out (but not being able to see them myself, I'm not sure if the video quality is any good):
